A gift to the museum from Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Oleg Zakomorny - the author's graphic work "The sketch of polar bears"



Oleg Zakomorny donated to the museum his graphic work “The Sketch of Polar Bears” (2009), which had been displayed at his personal exhibition “Parts of the Whole” held at the State Darwin Museum Jan. 31 – Oct. 3, 2019.

Oleg Zakomorny (born in 1968) – Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Associate Fellow of the Russian Academy of Arts, member of the International Art Fund, Moscow Union of Artists and the Creative Union of Russian Artists. In 1986 he finished the Moscow Art School n.a. N.V. Tomsky. In 1994 he graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute n.a. V.I.Surikov, the workshop of Professor L. Kerbel. Currently, the SDM collection holds 6 graphic and 5 sculptural works of this talented author.
