Darwin
museum is happy to once again host an extraordinary exhibition of artworks by
divers-photographers from all around the world – the Fifth Underwater
Wildlife Photo Festival.
Fantastic photographers,
among which winners and awardees of many international photo competitions in
the category “underwater photography”, are inviting you on an exciting journey
to the world of seas and oceans inhabitants. You will meet amazing seahorses,
adorable seals, dragon like iguanas, dangerously beautiful jellyfish. Discover
the wide variety of underwater inhabitants from tiny krill to huge sperm whales
the size of a school bus.
For the
years of its existence, the festival has won the hearts of visitors of all ages
from different parts of Russia. This year is sadly the first one for the
festival to be held without its founder -a separate exhibition stand will be
devoted to the talented photographer-diver and traveler Dmitry Vinogradov. Some
of his favourite works will amaze you by the professionalism they were taken
with and their unusual topic – sunken ships and airplanes.
Main
partners of the festival: the State Darwin Museum, Moscow open photo club,
Russian Wildlife photographers union and The Russian Geographical Society.
