“The story of the Moon’s visit to the Sun”
A fairy
tale about the Moon’s journey across the zodiac constellations in search of the
Sun and its wonderful transformations along the way.
“Coming back to the Moon and never return”
The movie
starts with a story about the first era of the Soviet and American space
flights to the moon in the late 60es and early 70es of the last century. But
then there was nearly 40 years of stagnation in exploration of the Moon. In
recent years the Moon is once again becoming popular. Lately the Moon has
become popular again.
How can one
re-inspire space exploration and get back to the Moon using the resources of ordinary
citizens and private financing? Google and XPRIZE organised a space competition
with the prize of US$30 million, the largest in history. The goal is to
land robotic spacecraft on the Moon to travel 500 meters, and transmit back
high-definition video, images and other information. 30 teams from all over the
world joined the competition to win the prize. Each team has its own project,
engineering discoveries and innovations.
The movie
will tell about some teams competing for the prize, the projects, results of
their work as well as origin of the Moon, its chemical composition, structure
and useful minerals on its surface.
“The two lenses”
During
astronomical observations, two school students learn how telescopes help to
improve our understanding of Earth and its place in the universe. The teacher
tells them about the history of a telescope, how it works, and all those
wonderful discoveries made through the systematic use of a telescope. Friends
continue exploring the world of modern observatories and the universe.
This
fulldome show will present the audience the history of telescopes, the most
outstanding scientists who made revolutionary discoveries using a telescope, and
will take the viewers to the world's largest observatories.
“Astronomy for kids”
It’s a rare
pleasure for citizens of large cities to see a starry sky and enjoy feeling
yourself as a tiny but meaningful part of the giant universe, amazing mysteries
of which keep all people captivated from time immemorial.
Modern
innovative technologies give an opportunity to explore magical and inaccessible
world of stars. Our projection system, even under the small dome of a
planetarium, allows visitors to understand what it feels like to be a member of
an important space expedition and travel beyond our Galaxy.
