extreme close-up photography exhibition

Расположение: transition

A macro photos exhibition by a professional wild life photographer, photo artist of Darwin museum – Petr Bogomazov
Macro photography enables us to see in detail world invisible to a naked eye. It is a way of seeing things in reverse, as if we had been made small while tiny creatures had become giants. The exhibition invites you to explore the world of tiny and small living things which are often left unnoticed by people, to see the beauty and perfection of the micro world inhabitants.
The exhibition features 60 portraits of various insects, spiders and reptiles – just a small part of all pictures taken on trips around Moscow region, Crimea, Montenegro and Spain. The author of the photographs offers children and adults an opportunity to consider how amazing and at the same time very fragile our nature is. It is indeed possible to admire it without causing harm.
The photographer – Petr Bogomazov – has been an employee of Darwin museum for more than nine years, winning many national and international photo competitions (becoming a finalist of National Geographic photo competition), acting as co-author of exhibitions at Darwin museum and other Moscow region museums and exhibition spaces.
