Back to the prehistoric past

5D interactive journey for the museum visitors

1 January 2010 — 30 September 2021

Tour participants go back to the past on a super-modern spaceship and find themselves in the prehistoric Carboniferous period accompanied by a friendly virtual guiding robot. A journey into the past unexpectedly turns into a real adventure, full of dangers and unpredictable plot twists.

Travelers will have to perform a number of tasks in different parts of the route. During meteor showers, the crew collectively manages the ship using joysticks. The participant with the fastest reaction and the most agile photographer of ancient fish and dragonflies will get the privilege of individual control of the spaceship.

First discovery in outer space: the supercontinent Pangaea.

Giant dragonflies… Some of them had a wingspan of 75 cm

All of us have cameras to take pictures of such large red dragonflies… for Science, of course.

Meteor shower! Grab your joysticks and switch to manual control.

Save yourself!

Look at the lobe-finned fish… Wonderful creatures and your ancestors.

This interactive activity implemented a unique system of interaction with simulated environment. A visitor becomes an active participant in all events. A panoramic screen, three-dimensional real-time graphics, stereoscopic effect, multi-channel surround sound system and full interactivity will make your visit an exciting and unforgettable virtual journey into the prehistoric past.
